We collect precise location data when you use the app to match you with nearby drivers, calculate routes, and provide accurate ETAs. You can manage location permissions through your device settings.
Payment Information
Payment method details such as mobile money account information or card details. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers — we do not store full payment credentials on our servers.
Device & Usage Data
Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and interaction data such as pages viewed, features used, and session duration. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the experience.
How We Use Your Information
- Providing services — matching riders with drivers, processing payments, delivering packages, and communicating trip details.
- Safety & security — verifying identities, detecting fraud, and maintaining safe interactions between users.
- Communications — sending ride confirmations, receipts, service updates, and marketing messages you've opted into.
- Improving the platform — analyzing usage patterns, running A/B tests, and developing new features based on how people use Cend.

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for a limited period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Trip and transaction records are retained for up to 7 years for financial and regulatory compliance. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
